03GENERATION

The AI selects and places the plants

Using two prompts, one for the composition and one for the site conditions, the AI selects suitable plants from the chosen catalog and fills the 2D shape — as native Vectorworks objects, individually editable after generation.

What people ask us most.
What is the difference from the free trial?
The trial works without an API key and with no time limit: it gives you access to the features with 20 credits (about 10 plants or a few planting plans), with a watermark on generated items. The purchased version removes the watermark and the credit limit; you then connect your own API key.
Do I choose the plants that are used?
You simply indicate the source — resource library or active document — and the AI chooses for itself, from that catalog, plants of equivalent size suited to the site. You remain the judge of the final result, and it's not uncommon to be pleasantly surprised by its choices.
Which mode should I choose: Automatic, Detailed or Large area?
Automatic suits most standard planting beds. Detailed gives you control over filling zone by zone, useful for a highly controlled result. Large area favors speed on large plots, at the expense of fine control.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes — and the purchased version requires at least one. The plugin supports up to four AI engines: Gemini, Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI and Grok. You choose the model used for images and the one used for data, and you can change them at any time. You stay in control of cost, quality and how the engine evolves, without depending on our choices. The trial version, for its part, works without any key.
Which version of Vectorworks does it work with?
Everything is tested on Vectorworks 2026.
Which plants can I use it with?
With any catalog in your document or your library. The plant packs are its ideal companions: hundreds of ready-to-use plants, in 2D and 3D, from which the AI can draw to fill your planting beds.
Does the plugin work offline?
No: the computation goes through an online service. An internet connection is required when filling a zone.
Are updates included?
Minor updates are included with your purchase. Major releases of the plugin may be offered as a new version.
