Type a plant name

Common name or Latin name — the plugin identifies the species and retrieves all its characteristics: height, spread, exposure, hardiness, and more.

02GENERATION

The images and the data sheet are built

From 1 to 4 images of the plant are generated, each with its own configurable prompt. Handy for getting, for example, hand-drawn style images while staying true to the plant's real habit. A technical data sheet is assembled in parallel from the collected data. The plant's illustration images (up to 4) require Vectorworks 2026 SP5 minimum.

The 3D symbol is generated next

A 3D geometry of the plant is created from a configurable prompt, separate from the one used for the images — you adjust the level of detail, the style of the volume, and even the season shown, independently of the 2D preview.

A standard Vectorworks symbol is created and filed in your resource folder, ready to be placed on a plan like any other symbol.

What's the difference with the free trial?
The trial works without an API key and has no time limit: it gives you access to the features with 20 credits (about 10 plants), with a watermark on generated elements. The purchased version removes the watermark and the credit limit; you then connect your own API key.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes — and the purchased version requires at least one. The plugin supports up to four AI engines: Gemini, Anthropic (Claude), OpenAI and Grok. You choose the model used for images and the one used for data, and you can switch at any time. You stay in control of cost, quality and how the engine evolves, without depending on our choices. The trial version, on the other hand, works without any key.
Which version of Vectorworks is required?
Everything is tested on Vectorworks 2026. The 4 illustration images of the plant require Vectorworks 2026 SP5 or later.
Does the plugin work offline?
No: search and image generation go through an online service. An internet connection is required when creating a symbol.
Are updates included?
Minor updates are included with your purchase. Major plugin releases may be offered as a new version.
